Hours	Daytime hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Special evening hours: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month.
Services	Advocates compassion and respect for those affected by AIDS. Offers practical information on the latest experimental drugs being tested as well as local resources offered within East Texas. The Project is listed nationally with six agencies as an organization designed specifically to assist those persons who now live with AIDS. Offers educational materials and workshops to prevent the spread of HIV disease. The goal is to educate and eliminate unfounded fears about AIDS and HIV. Support and counseling is provided for the family and infected person. Syphyllis testing is also available. Health Horizons of East Texas can help with medical referrals, pharmaceutical information, free professional counseling, free professional health care evaluation, pre- and post- HIV test counseling, food pantry, group support, education, practical help. HIV testing is provided. A $10 donation is appreciated.
Eligibility	HIV positive individuals.
Application Procedure	If the individual tests positive, he or she completes an intake form to become a member.
