Services	The objective of the year-around program is to provide a wide variety of leisure activities for all the citizens of Nacogdoches. The programs and activities are designed to provide the community with opportunities to make meaningful use of their leisure time. The programs include athletic leagues for adults in Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, and Baseball. The Recreation Department also coordinates a youth Basketball league every winter. Education and recreational programs are also offered throughout the year for pre-school through senior citizens. Some of these programs include gymnastics, aerobics, Spanish, sign language and various classes in martial arts, arts and crafts, and dance. During the summer, Red Cross swim lessons are offered in addition to other programs. Class sessions run 4-6 weeks long year round. Athletic leagues are seasonal.
Eligibility	Classes are offered for children 2 years and older. Everyone interested in participating in a class or activity may contact the Recreation Center and register.
