| Services | The Burke Center Essential Services MRLA unit provides services to individuals with mental retardation and developmental disabilities (cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy). The services include testing to make a determination of mental retardation and referral to other Burke Center services that offer vocational training, respite care, alternative residential placement and in-home support services. The range of services is designed to provide the families of individuals with mental retardation with support services to enable the individual to remain in the community. MRLA is the area authority for placement. |
