Services	Each group has but one primary purpose—to carry its message to the alcoholic who still suffers. Group members seek to share their experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another in order to solve their common problem.
Eligibility	Membership in A.A. is open to all problem drinkers (from any location) and the only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. Acceptable referral sources include self-referral, family members, friends, police, courts, social workers, doctors, or any service agency. Initial contact can be made by calling (936) 564-3388. Open meetings are open to the public. Closed meetings are for problem drinkers only.
